Game production
I translate an approved direction into milestones and department-level work, then connect it through dependencies. At LightFury, this included design-document reviews, task breakdowns and sprint leadership.
Expertise & tools
The technical detail, the production plan and the team’s working reality all influence each other. My experience sits across those connections.
Production & delivery
I translate an approved direction into milestones and department-level work, then connect it through dependencies. At LightFury, this included design-document reviews, task breakdowns and sprint leadership.
I track commitments, investigate estimate gaps and follow decisions through implementation. Recovery planning includes reprioritisation, scope recommendations, support and realistic timeline options.
I look at downstream consequences as well as the immediate blocker. My work includes dependency-driven priorities, timeline escalation, safe system changes and practical recovery options.
Quality assurance
I have led the functional work of 10 GTA III DE testers, the 15-person Online Services QA India Nights team and Ubisoft event-testing groups. Responsibilities covered allocation, coverage, review and progress reporting.
My experience covers live-game behaviour, connectivity, events, rewards, achievement systems, Social Club Web, Rockstar Games Launcher and game-service integrations across development, certification and production environments.
I narrow reproduction steps, examine player evidence, assess impact and document a report that can be acted on. I personally reported 2,300 defects at Rockstar and 500+ at Ubisoft.
Systems & knowledge
At LightFury, I built four projects and approximately 20–30 boards from zero, including workflows, permissions, dependencies, dashboards and automation. I later supported governance and the transition of routine administration to IT.
I helped establish company-wide Notion at LightFury, created onboarding and reference documentation at Rockstar and built a daily handover format that preserved context across shifts.
I tested Jira changes separately, backed up live systems and implemented major updates outside active working hours. Two changes needed rollback; both were diagnosed and successfully reimplemented after correction.
People development
I onboarded approximately seven GTA III testers and seven India Nights members, and mentored around five testers at Ubisoft. I adjust explanations to how each person understands information.
At Rockstar, I carried out formal performance reviews covering quality, reliability, initiative, proactiveness and output. My assessments informed later review by the relevant team and project leads.
I listen to each person, separate facts from assumptions and bring people together to address the actual disagreement. At Rockstar, this approach resolved a conflict rooted in miscommunication.
Organisational coordination
I connect technical and creative departments, represent QA in cross-functional sprints and coordinate across global shifts. At LightFury, I worked directly with the CEO, CTO and CFO on progress, risks and delivery choices.
At LightFury, I participated in final team-fit screening and distributed approved headcount according to workload and bottlenecks. Department leads owned technical assessment, and leadership owned budget and final decisions.
I ran biweekly executive reviews, combining live progress, written context and build demonstrations. I captured decisions during discussions and translated the outcomes into visible actions for the relevant teams.
Capabilities developed through QUT
My postgraduate projects extend my professional experience into other industries and business disciplines.
Project charters, scope, milestones, procurement, quality and governance through the QUT Bookshop redevelopment scenario. Operational analysis and strategic recommendations through Aurizon and Qube case studies.
Explore project and operations workPlatform data analysis and visualisation using Tableau, the YouTube Data API v3 and QUT Digital Observatory Youte. Business intelligence planning for Halfbrick and a player re-engagement proposition for Epic Games.
Explore data and strategyConsumer research for Vegemite, integrated communications planning for Hazzrd, campaign evaluation for Tuvalu and research design around customer trust in the cruise industry.
Explore marketing and insightOrganisational research, inclusive leadership, workload and burnout concepts, supply-chain responsibility and critical evaluation of AI-generated information. These projects consider both the evidence and the people affected.
Explore people and ethicsThe toolkit
The tools matter most when they help people find information, understand a decision or move the work forward.
